RNF Digital Innovation beat off strong competition to pick up Highly Commended in the Best Use of Digital Marketing category at the globally renowned CIM Marketing Excellence Awards in London last night.

The annual awards identify and celebrate outstanding marketing by organisations, individuals and teams, rewarding innovation delivered by marketers at the cutting edge of their profession.

Judges from organisations such as IBM, Oracle and Interbrand awarded RNF the commendation for demonstrating how their BEAM customer engagement platform delivered a strong return on investment for their client Bestway Wholesale.

Rob Mannion, Managing Director of RNF Digital Innovation, said: “We’re really proud of our ongoing partnership with Bestway Wholesale and happy that BEAM is getting the recognition it deserves for delivering a strong return on investment for brands.

“With so much data now available to businesses, it’s easier than ever to develop a customised experience that builds loyalty among your customer base but harnessing that data, and using it intelligently, is the key to success.

“The BEAM platform works alongside Bestway’s bespoke ordering app, enabling the company to manage user notifications to optimise their experience. By harnessing data drawn from location technology – such as iBeacons and geofences – and combining this with behavioural insights about individual customers, the platform allows Bestway to deliver digital content specific to each customer at a time and location that’s appropriate to them.

“It has dramatically improved the effectiveness of Bestway’s engagement with its app users, delivering impressive commercial results.”
