Bestway Shopping App hits top 10 in Business App Rankings

A new app aimed at ‘revolutionising the retail experience’ for Bestway and Batleys cash and carry customers has proved an instant hit after entering into the UK’s top ten chart for business downloads. Only weeks after its release onto the Apple i-tunes store, the free app has proved so popular its entered in at number 10 in the chart for the most downloaded UK business apps for Apple iOS devices.The app has enjoyed a steady stream of downloads since its launch with some considerable peaks documented, including 540 downloads in a single day.

Developed by Leamington-based mobile communications company RNF Digital Innovation for the Bestway Group, the free app is available to existing Bestway and Batleys customers for use on iPad and iPhone devices.

All customers using any of the 63 Bestway and Batleys depots across the UK will be able to download the app now from the i-tunes store. The app has an array of features including detailed product information and price updates on up to 20,000 products, the ability to list and access favourite products and the use of a barcode scanner to enable quick processing of large orders. There are also updates on deals, offers and multi-buy purchases, access to previous order history and the ability to drill down for information about specific products.Customers will also be able to locate their nearest store at the touch of a button, plot a route with an estimated arrival time or book a delivery right down to the ability to inform the delivery driver to beware of a dog and ring the doorbell on arrival.
