HB Clark, Three Pears and MJ Baker Foodservice take advantage of RNF/Sanderson partnership

The latest wholesalers to sign up to the RNF built Sanderson mobile ordering app are specialist wholesalers HB Clark, Three Pears and MJ Baker Foodservice.

HB Clark have been supplying the independent On Trade since 1906 and service a customer base of over 4500 delivered through 9 depots.

Three Pears has been trading since 1973 supplying toiletries, household goods, cleaning products, pharmaceuticals, health care, beauty and wines servicing over 5000 customers.

MJ Baker Foodservice are the West Country’s leading independent Foodservice wholesaler and have been trading since 1999.

The fully branded apps enable their customers to order products 24/7 from their mobile device and have full product information and time-saving features such as instant barcode scanning and pre-populated shopping lists. They also allow customers to view their account history and are available in both iOS and Android versions.

Importantly, the apps link with RNF’s bespoke customer engagement platform BEAM. This enables all three wholesalers to engage with their app users in a personalised and relevant way through rich push notifications and in-app advertising. Campaigns through this innovative channel are already delivering impressive results for wholesalers such as Bestway, Abra, Blakemore and Filshill.

Rob Mannion, RNF Managing Director, said, “We’re excited to see yet more wholesalers signing up to use our app and importantly our BEAM platform. One recent drinks promotion through BEAM delivered a 22% uplift in sales versus trend-line and another campaign delivered uplifts in active app users of up to 443%, with a 47% increase in average basket value and 250% increase in daily app transactions. Mobile technology is proving to be an important channel for retailers and wholesalers cannot afford to ignore this.”
