RNF has launched a new ordering app for Bestpets, the specialist pet products division of Bestway Wholesale, as it looks to expand its offerings to wider wholesale markets outside of food and beverage.
The app will make ordering quicker and easier for Bestpets’ delivered customers including pet shops, grooming parlours and online retailers. It enables those customers to browse and order the full Bestpets range of over 10,000 pet products, has a barcode scanner to scan products making ordering quicker and create lists of their favourite products that are stored to make future reordering much faster.
The app was trialled with select customers throughout May, and almost 100 orders were placed. Users expressed their delight with the speed of the app, the functionality of the barcode scanner and the ability to calculate gross profit on the app itself.
In addition, it comes supercharged with RNF’s mobile customer engagement platform Beam which allows Bestpets to communicate with app users via rich push notifications (e.g. images and videos) and place relevant supplier messages within the app to alert customers to special deals and new products.
